Adult Sleep Coaching – FAQ

Since adult sleep coaching programs are still relatively new to many people, you may have questions. If you have a question that’s not answered here, please book a Clarity Call and we’ll chat!

In your first three (3) weekly sessions, we’ll:

  • Discuss your goals, current sleep struggles, & health history,
  • Review the results of a comprehensive sleep assessment,
  • Identify specific changes that will have the most impact on your sleep & energy,
  • Create an individualized plan that will inspire & incrementally move you toward long-term success.

Because these sessions set the foundation for your coaching experience, they are 60 minutes each.

Then, in blocks of three (3) subsequent weekly follow up sessions, we’ll work your plan by:

  • Using your existing strengths/skills and celebrating small wins,
  • Finding options and possibilities to overcome any challenges,
  • Exploring specific techniques to help you fall asleep more easily, reduce nighttime awakenings, and improve sleep quality,
  • Revising your Weekly Action Steps, 3-Month goals, and vision as you gain new insights and progress.

To keep you focused and moving forward, all follow-up sessions are 30 minutes.

To get the most out of this 1-1 sleep coaching program, most clients do a total of 12 sessions, over 12 weeks. It generally takes this amount of time to make progress in changing habits, making shifts in mindset, learning through our conversations, and to gain experience with the techniques.

However, you may decide to explore coaching three sessions at a time (see below for cost differences).

The cost of a full 12-week coaching program is $1,800. You may pay this up front, or in monthly ($600) installments.

The cost of the first three (3), one-hour sessions is $600. Blocks of three (3) weekly or bi-weekly 30-min follow-up sessions are $450. That means if you go in blocks of three sessions and still end up doing the originally recommended 12 weeks, your total would be $1,950.

Beyond the Clarity Call, you’ll need to enter your credit card information to schedule coaching appointments. I accept all major credit cards.

The National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) is working toward this; currently all services are private pay and due at time of service.

We decide this together when we talk in a Clarity Call. If coaching isn’t the right approach for you, I might refer you to someone else who could help. There’s no pressure to buy anything, ever!

When you enroll in a sleep coaching program, we select a day/time slot that is reserved specifically for you. However, schedule conflicts inevitably arise. Let me know as soon as possible and we’ll reschedule your session. If you miss or cancel with fewer than 24 hours notice, you’ll be charged the full session fee. This and other policies will be clearly spelled out in the documents you’ll complete before your first session.
