“Let’s get something to eat.”
“Yeah, but let’s get something that tastes good, instead of something healthy!”
I overheard this conversation leaving a yoga studio not too long ago, and it made me sad.
As a human being who loves healthy tasty food, I know this isn’t true! As an Eating Psychology Coach, I know how critical it is for our metabolism that we consume foods we truly enjoy. My wish is that we can all choose foods that are both healthy AND also high in what Marc David calls “Vitamin P”: PLEASURE!
Pleasure is often experienced through our senses, so I thought what better way to experience healthy, pleasurable food than through beautiful photos!
Most of you know I love taking and posting photos of amazing healthy food, so I’m creating this challenge to make us all a little more aware of how we can eat healthy while receiving pleasure. And this pleasure is anything but guilty!
This is a wide-open 30-day challenge with few rules.
During the month of June, you can join and share your photos on a Facebook group and/or you can share your photos on Instagram using specific hashtags.
When you sign up below, you’ll receive an email with some prompts / themes to guide you through the month.
Feel free to forward this challenge to friends, family, colleagues, clients, or anyone you know who needs some inspiration on what healthy and pleasurable eating can look like!
