In my recent post Teachings for the Teacher, I described some ways that teaching a class themed on the practice of ahimsa, or non-harming, trickled out into my life. This continues to happen to me, as each week I’ve been exploring different yamas in my classes. Whether you’re in Gentle, Hatha, or Vinyasa Flow, odds are you’ve heard me talk about these concepts more in 2016. With it, my process for designing classes has transformed, and I continue to learn from everything I experiment with, as well as the feedback my students offer about how these concepts impact their practice and their lives.
This past week I’ve spent more time than is probably visible recording this ahimsa class for ya’ll to try. I hope you enjoy it, but if you don’t, well that’s OK too. 🙂
